Congratulations on joining the "Path to Nobel" book series! We are thrilled to have you on board for this exciting journey of discovery and creativity. This page outlines the key steps and resources to guide you through writing your chapter.
1. Project Overview
"Path to Nobel" is a unique opportunity for you to delve into the life and work of a Nobel laureate. Over the next four months, you will research, write, and refine a chapter dedicated to a laureate of your choice, culminating in the publication of our collective work.
2. Selecting Your Nobel Laureate
You'll receive a shared sheet to fill in your name and your chosen laureate's name once you're registered.
3. Writing Your Chapter
You'll receive the chapter template and detailed writing instructions once you're registered.
4. Review and Feedback
- You'll have a coordinator and a reviewer to guide you in writing your chapter, available through two Zoom meetings scheduled as needed.
- You'll receive feedback to help refine your chapter.
- Should you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
5. Finalizing Your Chapter
- Incorporate the feedback and finalize your chapter.
- Ensure your chapter adheres to the formatting guidelines provided.
6. Desktop Publishing (DTP) and Printing
- Once all chapters are submitted, they'll be formatted for publication.
- The final book will be printed and published, marking the completion of the project.
- 10 copies of the printed book will be shipped to your address once printing is complete.
7. Time / Duration of the Project
- 1 week — selecting your Nobel laureate
- 1 week — researching your Nobel laureate
- 2–4 weeks — writing your chapter
- 1 week — the review process
- 1 week — the final version
- 1 week — Medium.com article and promotion
- 3 weeks — printing
- 6 weeks — to receive the books
